Home Office Ergonomic Assessments

In response to the growing trend of employees working from home, Desk Dynamics has designed a quick and efficient ergonomic assessment service tailored to the home environment. 

 

It is worth noting that, for employees who work on a permanent or part-time basis from home, the employer is obliged to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000:

 

‘ensuring that systems of work and the working environment of the

employees are safe and without risks to health’.

 

A home or office consultation by one of our qualified Occupational Therapists will provide the following:

 

* Assessment of the individual and the home office or workstation set-up.

* Evaluation of equipment needs.

* Education to minimize the risk of future injuries.

* Recommendations regarding suitable office equipment and, if

    appropriate, co-ordination of equipment trial.

* Documentation to enable ongoing independent ergonomic set up.

* Documentation to enhance safe work practices and correct work postures.

* Specific home office OHS requirements evaluation.

* Comprehensive individual report.

* Proactive follow up service.
