Educational seminars on office ergonomics and workstation set up are available to complement other Desk Dynamics services by providing employees with the knowledge they need to prevent musculoskeletal problems through early identification, exercise and good workstation or environmental set-up.

 

Typically an education session on ergonomics and workstation set up comprises the following:

   Provide ergonomic, safe work practices and postural advice to staff.

 Conduct a practical session including a life-size spine and example

     workstation to demonstrate basic spine anatomy and correct posture,

       as well as do’s and don’ts of setting up your workstation.

   Principles of correct workstation layouts.

   Role of postural exercises and stretches.

   Employee assesses and modifies their own workstation.

   Information sheet outlining correct workstation setup given at

      completion of session.

   Summary report provided detailing findings and recommendations.
